THE EXPANSION OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS IN THE FIELDS OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE
Gevorkyan Eduard A.

At the present stage for the purpose of creation of common European space of research and education in accordance with the Bologna declaration is necessary to continue to develop the educational and scientific relationship between Russian and foreign (primarily European) universities and research centers [1]. This development is aided by the fact, that today Russian Federation has completely passed by a two-level system of higher education (bachelor and master). Among tasks of the Bologna declaration the special place is taken by a problem of increase of the academic mobility of students, graduate students, professors and teachers, etc. [2], [3]. It is obvious, that important means of achievement of high academic mobility is creation of joint educational and scientific programs between the Russian and European higher education universities. Mastering by students and graduate-students of such programs leads to the award of the degree, a secure and confirmed the participating universities.

The Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI) is currently preparing bachelors and masters in the fields of "Economics", "Management", "Applied informatics", "Mathematical software and information systems administration", "Law", "Linguistics". Gradual transition of an assessment of knowledge to system of test units is carried out. The diploma supplement is issued of European standard. Work is continuing on the implementation of joint innovative educational programs with well-known European universities and the issuance of double diplomas. Currently VESI closely cooperates with several European universities implementing various joint programs [4].

We will shortly characterize some of them below:

  1. The joint Russian-French program of preparation of bachelors with L' Universite d' Auvergne Clermont 1 in the direction "Management". After the termination graduates receive the Russian and French bachelor's diplomas of the state sample.
  2. The joint Russian-Italian programs of the bachelor and the master in the direction "Economy" with L' Universsita della Colabria. After graduating from the University students receive a double diploma of the state sample.
  3. A joint Russian-European master program with the international Baltic academy in Latvia in the direction "Management". After graduating from the academy students receive a double diploma.
  4. A joint Russian-European program "Semester abroad" in the direction "Business management". The program is implemented with the business school "European university".
  5. The joint program of training with the Southern Korean national university Kenbuk in the various directions: economics? Management? Information technologies, etc.
  6. Programs of studying of various European languages (German, English, Spanish, etc) together with different European institutes.

Note, that MESI also is the member of many international organizations: International

Council for Open and Distance Education (ICDE), European University Association (EUA), etc.

Since 1949 in MESI studied and continue study the foreign citizens. Currently in MESI learn about 1000 foreign citizens for reception of the bachelor and master degree. There are also graduate students, doctorate students, internships. Some years the specialists of the joint Russian-Chinese oil and Gas Company pass annual training and increase the professional knowledge at our university.

Many foreign graduates of MESI became well-known in the World. Here some of them:

  1. Putsagiyn Zhasray (Mongolia) - was many years the prime minister of Mongolia.
  2. Batbalyn Enkhtuvashin (Mongolia) - the acadtmician? The president of Academy of Sciences of Mongolia.
  3. Kingston Palye Roduz (Sierra Leon) - the chairman of the commission of the United Nations on the international civil service.
  4. Peter Dimitrov (Bulgaria) - the Minister of Economics of Bulgaria.
  5. Yanosh Sabo (Hungary) - the head of the mission of the Hungarian company on medical drugs "Gedeon Rikher" in Ukraine.
